ECHA has released two videos to show how to use IT Tool ( software) IUCLID 5 for “Pre-registration” under EU REACH. Pre-registration is an optional window available to parties to EU REACH registration to avail extended registration deadlines benefits for thier existing chemical substances. “Pre-registration’ is available till 1st Decemeber 2008. People fail to pre-regsiter would not be allowed to sell their products in EU, which with be in effect retrospectivly from 1st June 2008.
Two videos show companies how to upload data for mono-constituent substances in bulk, and how to encode for multi-constituent substances or those of ‘unknown or variable composition, complex reaction products or biological materials’ (UVCB).
